Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails or onychocryptoses to give then their ‘Sunday name’ are painful spikes of nail which dig in breaking the skin and can cause infection.

We can help with conservative treatments or nail surgery to remove part or all of the nail.

Our Podiatry team all are qualified independant prescribers that can recognise and support any infection in your foot.

Hard Skin and Corns

Pressure, time on your feet and sometimes changes in skin can cause a build up of hard skin (callous) and corns.

Verruca

Verrucae are a form of wart caused by strains of the HPV virus.

They are common in younger patients. Many resolve on their own and in time however we can help you manage any verrucae which may become uncomfortable.

Difficult toenails

Over time toe nails can grow thicker and become harder to cut yourself.

We have specialist equipment and experience to manage even the most stubborn toe nails.

Heel Pain (Plantar Fasciitis)

The Plantar Fascia is a thick band of tissue which runs from our heels to the bases of our toes. Sometimes this tissue works harder than it can manage and becomes painful under the heel.
